Style vs Big

Hey guys, I just wanted to hear different opinions on this: Do you prefer riders that have insane tech tricks or huge bangers in the park? I'm curious as to what people's opinions are. Comment.

this thread will probably start more bitching in the forums, but i prefer more tech tricks and combos.

I agree with neither. Im a fan of doing big and simple but styled tricks. It doesnt have to be some flippy world first combo to be good, you just have to make it look good.

Riding fast, hitting big stuff, creative grind combos, and HUGE tricks. I like the style the boxes team has in their edits, I'll watch one of those over a brendon smith edit any daye

Fast, creative riding that uses the spots you find, no matter how shitty or simple or perfect or whatever, perfectly. Tech or big doesn't really matter to me as long as it looks awesome and is smooth.

This. Plus large flowy airs and tricks in park. Also, ride tranny. The main argument against park is that everything is predetermined, that there's none of the sketchiness that's inherent with street spots. But transfers are uniqe to each park. You can't do certain gaps and boosts in any park other than the one that you're in, and they can be quite sketchy sometimes.

crazy big park tricks.... flip combo's huge gaps and insane flyout makes a sick edit!
but i ride flatland and tech tricks at skatepark, i quite like jumping up and onto things, i prefer landing and catching clean to doing whacky combos and multiple tricks in one air. i prefef doing the trick that takes 5 hours of practicce to the one who takes balls of steel and end indefinately with stacking.

Amen. I couldnt have said it any better myself. Go big, fast, and flow it together. Fast, smooth lines are always sick when they just flow, especially on street lines.
