Tailwhip help..

I've been trying to tailwhip for 5 days now, practicing about 20 minutes a day. I have been coming so close the past 2 days, but I always mess something up. Either I forget to kick the deck, don't spin it fast enough, or I don't catch it in time. Could it be because im riding a scooter a bit to small for me? (Razor Pro, getting a better one soon!). Or do I need more practice? I landed one once but then when both feet landed on the deck the whole scooter flew out from under me and I fell on my back. I completely bent the forks today while practicing :(

just keep at it, you'll get it with practice. not much to help with tailwhips, but once you get them, you will have them down for good

how i learned them was i just put all of my force into them. use your wrists to whip the deck around. just fully commit. it will be hard at first but they get easier, trust me

I always used to like to step forward onto the ground with my top foot (my right cause I ride goofy) and whip it around with my back foot and hop back onto it. That's how I got them, and how I got double whips.
