Tilt Fork Top Cap

When i tighten the top cap on my tilt forks, it turns my scs?
I tried:
Tightening the bottom scs bolt, it kept it straight, but didn't allow my headset to tighten.

And:
Putting grease underneath the head of the cap (allowing it to spin on the scs)

Neither worked, Ideas?

idk if this will even work but since you said i turns your scs when you tighten it< try turning your scs that might tighten but the sc might be sideways haha

oh then if you have a vice putthe scs in it and tighten the cap

I just tighten it then use these things called muscles to turn my scs.

or if you really give no fucks,
just leave it a little off center like I do sometimes.

There is something wrong with you guys. And Idk how you could be stripping it already, I have had mine Since May and its still perfect.

youd think it wouldnt matter that bikes dont do it, since theyre two completely different things.
I have the same problem with mine, i just turn it with my hands.

Have you tried having someone hold the SCS while another person tightens?
or better yet, using HIC?

yeah i tried that, it just continued to turn.
i might go HIC.
Considering my new bars are HIC.
