Tips for rolling in?

I've seen kids just ride down ramps without dropping in, how do they do this?

I was gonna do it yesterday, but i think i my deck will scrape the rail and i'll fall foward

why dont you get off the internet and go ask them? im prertty sure its much easier for someone to show you in real life than to read what people say.

its common sense, just watch the other kids and do what they do.
I did, they said pick up the front wheel, but i've seen people just pump into it. I was just wondering which is the best way to do it..

It's not really one way or anther to do it, it's mainly just having really good control and being a solid rider, if you have really good control over your scooter you should be fine, if not, stick to dropping in for now.

He means rolling into the quarter, as opposed to being stalled at the coping and dropping in.

Try to keep your weight level with the angle of the ramp. You can get away with a little bit of leaning too far back or forward, but really if you just commit you'll get it, anyone can do it.

Really, it all depends on if you're dropping in to get a lot of speed or not. If you're using it for speed, you want to come in pretty fast, at a good sharp angle, and just kind of pump in to it. The steeper the transition, the sharper the approach angle. If the tranny is too steep for the way you're hopping in, you'll nosedive to flat, which I can't imagine is very fun.
