What bar hieght is right for me?

Im ordering new bars and i need to know a size that would fit me, im 5'3 and wondering if 21 x 16 would be to tall? what height would and width would you reccomend? sorry im totally new to this stuff, haha thanks

Where are you located?
If you have access to a couple tools :
Cutting down the bars is relatively easy but making them taller and wider is not

I would order them wider, easy to cut down the width

16" sounds pretty narrow since my kid (7 yrs) rides 16" but of course every person has their own preference.

buy them like 22 high 20 wide, cut them as you feel necessary, 21x18 or 21x20 will probly be what youll like

i get my low enough so they dont hit my dick and as wide as my shoulders so 20 wide

use a hack saw and if you can head to your local bike shop they actually have a special tool that keeps the saw straight on your bars. Try not to use a pipe cutter as they are made for copper and your bars are chomoly, and this causes the pipe cutter to start cutting in a swirl pattern that messes everything up.

Don't forget to sand down the edges with a file after you cut them!
