install the headset, put on your threaded fork, take the locknut without the race thing, its the taller one that has no crownrace on it, its a basic lock nut, screw it on untill your headset doesnt wobble but can spin freely and your ready to go, put your bars on normally you do not need...

You have to use a scorcher, lucky smx fork tube inside the wall is too thik for a starnut, so they made a cup on the top of the fork thinner so you could fit a starnut but still have a thick fork tube, if you cut off the cup then you wont be able to fit a starnut in there, use a scorcher

get an impact wrench with an allen wrench attachment...theypound the bolt while trying to spin so it breaks loose with shock and comes off with the spin they use them on lug nuts for cars and semi trucks.
