Why do aluminum bars supposedly need special metal bar ends or those new district bar ends. My friend just got reapers and keeps saying that he needs to get these aluminum only ends. Isn't any bar end the same as the next?

Personal preference. Corey Funk rides his backwards, I ride mine backwards. It makes footjams and hangfives easier, and it's also makes your scooter more stable when turning at high speeds. Like I said, it's just personal preference.
