i got my first scoot when i was about 9. It was the JDBug b model with spring loaded forks and the deck the same as a current pro lol. i still use that deck as my backup (its reinforced now). the same year i got it my family went on a holiday to VIC, and while we were there i snapped my forks...

i <3 u shaun93 lol and its actually 3mm thick mild steel plate. we use this stuff out at work in installations that apply much more stress to it then scooter riding would. also, b4 anyone says "the welds will break", it was welded up by a mate of mine who is literally one of the best...

ive got a modded old b and an "old a" styled deck, and although i will admit the b is WAY stronger, more ergonomic and easier to grind, i still prefer to ride the old a :)

yeah bro im pretty sure they r steel, i welded one of them myself lol. its sh*tty steel tho, i burnt a hole thru one of them and had to get a pro welder to fix my mess up. also, u forgot to mention that if u want an ultra firm ride, u run some tec-screws thru the steer tube, thru the snapped...
