i duno bout this idea to start having threads there will after time wreck a SCS clamp, Phoenix make SCS clamps too! would Always suggest the slits in a HIC & Bars up, having the HIC shim a thread on system will never allow you to aline the slits up, Pointless maybe the threads but not...

the bars only have back sweep if you position them back, you can loosen the top clamp & rotate the bars to suit your riding style they are 4130 chromo too the new Team editions are better with the Flex fender brake & new colour range
