I did from a hep thresh to a hammerhead. It wasn't bad at all just took a minute for me to get everything back. But I like it and I like the massive amount of foot room.

I went from 19.5 deck to a 21 inch thresh, it felt so much more comfortable and i got used to it in like 5 minutes

going from a 19 or even 20 to a 22 is gonna be a huge change. id bet youd have to relearn some tricks. i had to realearn quite a few whip tricks when i went from a lindworm to a 22 thresh

Choose your deck based on how tall you are and how big your shoe size is. There's so many riders out there riding setups with incorrect geometry.

19/20 to 22 would be a huge jump. I went from my hep to a 22 it took like 2 sessions to get a feel for it, and probably like a month or even more for it to feel fully natural and for me to get all my tricks back.

isn't it all preference?
yeah I mean its preference to a degree, but there are a lot of cats I see who seems like they aren't comfortable with their bars and would have way more control with smaller ones. I also rock 23x19 (I'm 5'9ish) so I'm rather biased to small bars I guess haha.

Hey, don't knock it till you try it. I used to think the whole big bars thing was a fad, but they really do make a huge difference.

no. if your scooter is too big then its too big, if a 9 year old kid with size 6 feet tried to progress on a 22 it would be terrible for him. if i tried to ride 20 tall bars they would be below my knees probably and at that point it would be harder for me to progress, meaning its not preference its basically a fact that the bars are too small for me since i can't ride to my fullest extent.
