it's been incredibly fucking slow ever since I got it. I hear it's naturally slow but is there any way to speed it up a bit? I know greasing it but how do you grease an integrated headset?

I just read that you have to put grease between the bearings and the headset cap thingies. Is this true? Cause i've been using mine with just metal on metal and no grease.

No you don't, because that part doesn't spin, the only thing that spins are the bearings.

i got mine about 2 weeks ago and when i first put it on it sucked, there is a little rubber thing on the top cap that rubs and slows it down. Take that little rubber thing of and it works fine. I honestly dont know where this rubber piece is because i had matt somers look and it and he took it off but i saw it was this really little rubber circle thing that came off the top cap. But ever since he took that off it works so good

the headset being slow most likely just means that theres thick grease in there, if it bothers you that much then spray wd40 in the bearings(with the seals off) and then spray it out with an air copressor, then put less thick of grease in.
and if thats not it then the headset probably just needs to be broken in
