Addict v1.5 vs v2i

Im getting a friend into scootering and he's thinking of doing an addict or a v2i personally I havent fully given an addict a good try nor the 1.5 but I heard its more improved, I have ridden a v2i but I just don't know what would suite him better, he likes the 4.5 width but doesn't want to break the addict, any help guys?

He could buy my district v2i . Honestly if he's new I'd stay away from decks that are advertised for riding clean...

Dude, the addict wont break, I've had mine for like 6 months and the only thing that is breaking is the drop outs and they fixed that problem, there are no signs of cracking or breaking in the welds, just don't buy the deck if you weigh a ton.

I have both decks and i honestly think they are pretty similar except in looks and v2is are boxed
