Lower the number the softer. The hard the wheel the faster.

i used to ride them all the time and yes they are good and fast...until i got yaks. nothing can beat yaks right now i would just get the yaks if i were you

i think he means by how quick they wear down...pretty much every other wheel out there doesnt wear down nearly as quick as yaks do

I think it depends on how you ride. If you break ALOT , you might get flat spots and the wheel's urethane wears out faster but if you break less, you get longer lasting wheels and I mean long lasting WHEEL not only the urethane. Yaks seems to be the strongest for that price. Micro metal cores are twice or something more so its out of range.
