Not quite. I once was hanging out with guys from Finland and they were having a lot more tolerant attitude towards me and my beliefs than local guys. That's why I am wondering.

Depends on what kind of party is it. If it's drink-till-you-can't-remember-your-name fest then I can tell why the participants of such events find me uncool. I don't understand such things, drinking only for the sake of getting drunk seems stupid for me, I prefer more intelligent parties, with friendly musicians for example, they respect my choice and don't drink that much (just in case they have to hold their instruments properly to jam).
whenever i do mind altering substances, ill always offer, but if they say no then i don't push it on them forcing someone whos clean to do a drug is pretty retarded.
Haha yep. The problem is that there are a lot of such people around me for some reasons, so I have to be extremely picky with whom I would like to party.

Why would you wanna wait for it? Alcohol destroys nations. When I see LOTS of people getting drunk to some sort of unhuman condition EVERY weekend it is clearly not normal. Not to mention it damages leaver, braincells and other organs dramatically.
I am not a fan of conspiracy theories but some say when the government supports the production of alcohol it means that it wants its population to be stupid and obedient. And with the increasing propaganda of such lifestyle throughout the whole media this theory isn't hard to believe in (that, at least, what happens around here; maybe in your country it is a bit different).
I should also mention that my attitude to smoking weed is a bit better. When people are high they are usually relaxed, they don't act agressively and unfriendly. But still it isn't a healthy thing to do.
