I have a baby scs with twan nawt bars but like when I do a 180 and land my fork will be pointing straight but my bars and scs will be pointing another way, anyone know how to fix this?
Make sure the SCS fits snug on the the bars and forks and that everything is straight, tight, secure and assembled correctly.
I do not see any technical reason for your forks turning.
don't crank down the internal bolt too much.
but crank down the outside bolts.
SCS isn't that confusing dude.
At first i thought -maybe- you were some young kid with a snazzy job like you said but there is no way someone who makes good money can mess up something as simple as an SCS.
yeah but the thing is Rob the internal bolt had come loose even after I tighten the fu*@ out of it but now its solid and I tighten them both and the outside one alot
before you tighten the bolt make sure to hammer the scs down onto the fork with a mallet. the bolt isnt to make the headset tight its to stop it from getting loose. then tighten the compression bolt and hit the top of the scs again, and tighten the compression bolt again. then put the bars on and tighten the bolts.
