man up.
Kick ur legs out throw ur shoulder/head back =win if u search zane posted a hugh tutorial on this

All there really is to a backflip is to get to the top of the ramp and throw your head and shoulders back. The only issue you will ever have with a backflip is not staying commited and losing it upside down, then you will flail aimlessly to the ground lmao

Keep your head even with your shoulders and lean back. You dont want to arch yourself. What you want to do is curl into a little ball and drop your butt.

just man up, when you throw your legs up, arch your back and throw your head back, try to make the back of your head touch your ass, and you will just flip right around

Pull back, keep looking the whole way around. All the way around. Tuck your knees and dont bail out. If you are gonna over rotate let your legs out a little and if you still are. Wait until you are all the way around and then take your feet off.

this is what i always tell people. its like trying to bunny hop onto your back. you have to be confident when you do it and always commit. as your going up the ramp start to pull back so your momentum is forced into the flip. pull up as soon as your reach the top of the ramp and like i said try to bunny hop onto your back and when your upside down you look up too spot your landing. Edit: what happens when you dont commit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQSQPRMOkAk&list=UUi2YFCDc-jLWEzU8fcGaiRA&index=18&feature=plcp

james has the right idea as far as commiting fully..

when i learned em I did the flip but wasn't thinking and let go of my scooter. it bent the fork so much that i couldn't ride til i got a new one (not worth it, ruined the rest of the day). so HOLD ON TO YOUR BARS.

secondly you want to just look straight back, its easy to say but harder to do. if you hesitate or dont put your head straight BACK you'll look to the side or start spinning funny and it'll mess you up.

takeway is:
consciously think about HOLDING ONTO YOUR BARS and then LOOK STRAIGHT BACK. don't turn your head or look over your shoulder, just straight back. then commit and you're golden. you'll guage how much you need to tuck into it or loosen up if you're over/under rotating. but thats the easiest best advice i can give ya if you remember just those two things. everybody else is right too ^^
