I've seen different options: some kick with the back foot some with the front.
I kick whip with the back foot, but I can't do then off low ledges, maybe it's just because I'm not that great at them yet, but as I recall I've mostly seen people doing flat Bar to whips or off low obstacles taking the back foot off a deck and leading it a bit in the direction of whip with the front one while barspin and then kick.
Is it a better way? or it doesn't make a difference, it's just practice?
