best performance bar type

i was wondering what kind of bar you guys think is the best performance (not strength) wise.
I have not ridden that many types of bar but it seems to me that t bars are the best, they feel better for barspins and are lighter. now before people get angry i know it is subjective but is there any advantage besides strength to the crow bar style of bars, i rode mx 180 bars for a little while and i just found they were much worse for bars, saying that i have ridden t bars for years now.

so all in all say what kind of bar you think best and justify your answer, also what do you think of backsweep (this seems even more subjective though)

i think we should have more of these sorts of threads on sr

Depends on your style of riding, backsweep is definitely better for airs and I prefer it for barspins but if you ride wider bars with sweep you tend to hit your legs with the bars. I think 3 degrees backsweep is the perfect amount, 5 is a little too much for me. Heavier bars are better for barspins as well, overall my favorite pair of bars were Suicide v2s, they were strong, on the heavier side and had 3 degrees of sweep.

Even though you can't get them anymore... Addict bars hands down, they were light but not as light as you'd expect from a part coming from Addict.
The weight felt perfect to me. 3 degrees of backsweep was also a huge plus. Not to mention they looked bada**.

But if you're looking for new bars... I'd probobly go for, as Hcc said, suicide v2 bars for pretty much all the same reasons he said haha

Buff bars.

why, any reason for this or is the statement not serious

I am interested in reasons for what bars are best and why, i am not just looking for advice on bars to buy. thank you for the input anyway

as far as i know buffs are alu and therefore light, so it seems to be the opposite of what hcc and devin were saying.

would not heavy bars take more force to get moving but carry more momentum, making them better for throw bars but maybe worse for busdrivers?

also aren't the ethic dynasty/almasty bars like addict bars?

I had Addict bars as well and I liked them also, they cracked so quick though haha

I prefer the feel of non butted bars over butted bars though.

i cant stand alu bars, dont feel good for bar spins and it makes me feel like i dont have any control over my scooter. as far as sweep goes, usaully dont like it but years ago i had some custom lucky pry bars that only had like 1.5-2 degrees of sweep, best feeling bars ever but they got too short for me. goin to definetly get the ethic deildegast bars when they hit the US in more colours than just chrome

RAD bars are my favorite bars, Crow bars to be specific. I really like backsweep, it feels so much more comfortable throwing barspins and just cruising in general. They are definately one of the classic scooter handle bars and I prefer to support rider owned and American made companies

There are people that are smaller than you... not that hard of a concept lol
the tallest bars addict ever made were 23.6 out of scs and you had to modify them by shoving a tube in them to ride them in an scs. Those were the JD bars and they have been discontinued. Most bars are 24+ out of scs and thats considered short now a days, so I mean you can't really complain about bars being too tall if you can just cut them down shorter hahaha

phoenix cooper bars last forever, I've been on my xl's for over two years now.
but are they the best bars performance wise in your opinion, i am very interested in the performance aspect more than the strength atm. thanks for the replies everybody.

i am thinking of getting new bars now, i have mr h bars 22 high (24 in scs) and 20 wide but they weigh like 1.55kg which is way too much for the size, i ride a fair amount of flat so it does make a difference. the only alternatice is rup bars or mx 180 bars both only 23 high in scs and either 18 or 20 wide. ideally i think around 24 x 20 is good for me as despite being like 6ft tall i like grab tricks. idk suggestions would be cool but to make a note this is not a 'what bars should i get' thread, it is still what bars do you believe to be best performance and why.

oh yea also what are your opinion about the idea of making a bar as light as possible then having weighted bar end to give the bar the 'heavier bar for barspins' feeling? that would mean light bars for keeping the weight down yet still having a bar that is good for barspins.

another interesting thing i think i have discovered, heavy bars seem worse for bar rewinds as each time you have to throw the bar back with more force meaning the time taken for the bar rewind is longer making it a harder trick, do you think this is true. it is so good to see a thread getting responses that isnt one of the main threads, this website need more life

In my opinion, Suicides and bars that are on the heavier side with 3 degrees are the best performing bars for my style of riding. Backsweep is mostly preference but i think its better and makes a positive difference. If you want smaller, lighter T bars though you could try Proto ReTros.

Putting weights at the end of your bars would most likely make them bend a lot easier and bars can't be made that light without sacrificing strength, unless they're maybe made from titanium or something.

Not really sure about bar rewinds as I don't do them though.

Mine are one of the prototypes and they're cracked in 4 places and they still run perfectly fine Haha

They feel so good though
A fair few of my friends have snapped multiple pairs and I just feel sketchy riding cracked parts, they pretty much feel the same as any other Chinese made butted bars though haha. Have you tried Flavor bars?
