Yep, brand new company coming Australia's way.
Right now we are in our final stages of production and you will be seeing our products hit shops around Australia and NZ by the end of next month(May 2010). With a full freestyle BMX background, we not only attain the level of quality that comes in high-end BMX’s, but bring along the belief that scooters should no longer be found in toy stores between Barbie Dolls and Match Box Cars. Blunt Scooters’ parts are made with the highest quality material using only 4130 cro-mo and 6061 alu and designed by professionals.

To celebrate the launch, Blunt Scooters are running an online competition where some lucky person will win a year’s worth of Blunt gear valued at $1,000. The winner will be announced on the 20th of May, the day when the Blunt Scooters website drops and your first chance to see the range of parts we have to offer.

Just go to www.bluntscooters.com and click on the “Riders Enquires” link to enter and while you’re at it, submit an application to be on the Blunt scooter team. We are currently recruiting riders from all over Australia.

As for parts, stay tuned to this space as we will be releasing pictures in the very near future.

Later,
Blunt Scooters

the most legit thing i hear in that whole thing is they will be avlible in nz will this company be like madd gear wear the sell stuff through like k-mart

Hey,
Nothing against selling in Kmart, but not our thing. I'd like to see our gear sitting right beside BMX parts and skate products.

We have had a lot of people email in about our name and how we came up with it... well have a read below. It also gives you an insight on our company.

Our name "BLUNT" hasn't got any reference to drugs or a type of trick. We came up with the name by using a similar method to how Blind Skateboards came up with theirs. Started by Gonz, (a famous Pro Skater in the 80's) who was skating for Vision Skateboards (a massive company at the time) and not happy with the way Vision represented skateboarding and their direction. He then decided to start a new company of his own that was the exact opposite and named it 'Blind Skateboards'. So Blunt Scooters was given its name as we are aiming to be completely different to THAT biggest company that exists today.

If you haven't entered in the competition to win a year's worth of parts valued at $1,000, make sure you hit our website up and get your details down.

Later,
Blunt
