I use a aircompressor (is it called like that? like, its a tank wich is pumped to like 200psi and air blows out really hard)
I put on the small thingy, and put the grip on for about 1" and put the small thingy under the grip and let the air expand the grip so you can slip it on to your bars. Works every time.

use wd-40. i used it and my grips slipped on right a way and they dried 10 seconds later. theyve been fine since.

Works good
dont have to wait for anything to dry
takes like 5 seconds

i never use anything when getting grips on, just man up and push em on, works so much better, and you have no throttle.

Use zip ties, it is the BEST method no matter what anybody says. Basically, slide 5 or so zip ties in the grip and spread the evenly around the inside. You MUST keep the side with the square thing on the zip tie, facing out of the end of the grip, not the flange side. Then, push the grip onto the bar with the zip ties still inside. It should slide on pretty easy. Then, once the grip is in place, pull the zip ties out, one by one. Takes about 2 minutes, NO throttle grip, no waiting for the liquid to dry, and no blisters from sliding the grip on without anything.
