take out the little gold bits that hold your bars in

drill through the hole and out other side of bars

put a bolt in the same size as the drill bit you used

why not just leave the little copper buttons in there and instead of bolting the bars, take the bars out and put gorilla glue on them and put them back in. If you you follow the directions correctly, they will never move. (NOTE: if your bars are bent down a little bit, when you mod the bars like this you can wedge a little sandpaper on the underside of the bar before you put it back in the T tube. The best thing about this mod is that it doesn't leave any sharp edges.

neither does bolting it if you use front axles

Bolting your regular bars does not work. They eventually do loosen up. Best idea that I've heard is just getting a 1 piece bar to go inside the t tube and bolt it there.
