brake help

so whenever i try to put a spring brake on i cant get the bolt to fit thru the 2nd hole of the brake and 2nd hole in the deck because the spring pushes it, i used to not have this problem, does anyone else hav this problem and can anyone help?

i had this problem before i just clamped the bolt on the side it wouldnt go through with pliers and pulled it in to alignment with the hole then tapped the bolt through with a hammer until then undid the pliers and tapped it alll the way through

ok cuz i tried that but it didnt align at all, shud i make the spring looser the put a bearing under it after?

Maybe you need to bend the brake spring more

take a allen wrench or a screwdriver and pua the bolt up so its alliend with the other hole and then just push it through

Man up. If you get it all together and set up it'll be really REALLY dialled if it's so hard to get through. Or just bend the brake spring and dial it afterwards.
