breaking in wheels (metal cores)

how do you properly break in a metal core wheel so that it lasts longer.

uhm if there eagle metal cores you can just put them both on right out of the package.. thats what i did and there still doing 100% great! proto metal cores put one in the front for 2 weeks then put it in the back and then put the other one in the front.
