BUFF bars don't fit on fork

Okay so i got my buffs yesterday and i installed the starnut but they wont go over the fork. I emailed buff but he hasnt replied and i want to use my scooter. It makes me mad that i spend 90 bucks on bars that dont even work. How can i get them to fit.

I have an sr v2 fork

if it goes over and down a bit, make shure u have the star nut pushed up high enough??

Its like its almost the same size as they fork and the starnut is in deep enough

stick a flathead screwdriver in the slit at the bottom of the bars and stretch them apart a little bit.

Okay i did what greg said but it still wont work. this really sucks and its pissing me off that i spend that much on bars that dont work.

make sure there isnt a lip on the end of the bars
if buff cut the bars and didnt sand the ends, there may be a small lip on the inside of the bars

THere is no lip there smooth on the inside but they wont fit over the fork

try sanding the inside of the bars and the forktube

It will make it weaker but it will work. Try to get shitty forks and sand the tube down a little and get it on then once it is on try to bend it alittle and stuff to open it up.. good luck.

Okay ive tried everything on this thread still wont go on. Idk what buff did different or if he messed up but i am pretty pissed about this, Has anyone else had this problem.

Never heard of this problem with buffs....

Send them back you obviously have the wrong size tube, and if you snap the fork tube have fun getting out the tube inside the bars so dont force it.
