c4 bars

Hey Scooterhero1,

I was just up north recently and visited Gino at C4Scooters. They are definitely still making the classic "T" bars and they are lighter than their first versions since they changed the thickness on the CroMoly tubes about a year ago.

Gino is a pretty cool guy and mentioned that he never had one reported bar bend or break since they started making them back in 2008!

I have been riding my C4s for the last year and am completely happy with them. The welds are super legit and the satin powder coating is awesome and durable. I'm not sure of this, but they might be the lowest cost bars on the market yet one of the best classic style bars made. Check them out www.c4scooters.com

Hopefully, this anwsered your question.

P.S. I hope he doesn't get pissed at me, but I heard something about a possible "Thanksgiving Sale" on their website...including bars.

Peace Out :)

I remember they would break at the slit commonly but that goes for every pair of bars with slits, ICS, and crappy clamps which is what was prevalent in 2008-2009

Can anyone compare them to other T-bars like inwards, districts, or luckys in terms of weight, durability, and overall review?

Hey RyanScoot,

The C4 bars are by far the strongest classic 'T' style bars made and will probably outlast most of the other components on a scooter.

I recently had a chance to compare the following classic 'T' bars:

C4s
22 x 20
Very Strong
2.4 lbs
Very Durable Finish

Inwards
22 x 20
Strong
2.6 lbs
Durable Finish

Lucky Pros
22 x 20
Strong
2.3 lbs
Not Too Durable Finish

Wish I could compare more classic bars, but the above brands were the only ones I had access to. Hope it gives you some idea for what you are looking for.

Peace out :)

Ryanscoot, no. The weight shouldn't be a problem for you. (unless you struggle to pick up 2 and a half pounds.)

No you will get used to it after a day of riding. And they are definitely the cheapest. The c4 wheels are great but you have to remember to ware them in first in the front for about 2 weeks.
