First of all, ANY fighting, immature responses, or otherwise general stupidity will not be tolerated in this thread. Some people who use this website regularly feel there is a censorship problem, and I wanna know what is going on.


I'll say, our job as moderators/admins, is to simply moderate content on this website. There is a set of rules that were established years ago that we try to maintain to the best of our ability.


I don't want this generalized, if you have a problem with "moderators," chances are you have a problem with one person and we can look into it.

Again, mature responses only please. We want this site to stay for the users, and if you guys feel there is an issue to be discussed, mods/admins are all ears.

And just because we have the power to ban people..Doesnt mean we are power hungry. Mods on other websites say Mods have to be unbias. Well heres what I have to say..No. I am a person JSUT liek you guys..Im just trusted with the power to help out and enforce the rules. I still have opinions and having powers doesnt make me bias or unbias. I just voice my opinion but follow Andrew's rules.

I just delete/lock dumb things.. merge stuff... DELETE posts in the SOTM thread (which clearly states not to post in without an entry..)

I try to be as.. kind as possible, but some things are just so easily avoidable...
people need to search more, i'm sure older riders will agree.

if someone has a problem with me personally, please voice your opinion so i can better myself.

...edit, may I add, on MANY forums... the mods enforce the rules insanely. we're really lenient on some aspects.

Not trying to start anything, but what has SR become? I respect some of the mods on here (Nooner, Matt, Ale but seriously, Rob as a fucking mod? All he did to get that spot was ride the PROTO dick so hard. But on to the topic of censorship, no website should be censored period. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on shit and I think it needs to be heard. If you were to compare Admin logs on here to TRW, there is a fuckload of deleted shit here. I seen all the posts in the Freestyle Depot thread before they were gone. Also as Brian stated before it got deleted, the fact that SR and FD are supposed to be separate ----- yet there is a link to it on this forum. What a fucking joke. Andrew really needs to just admit, yes SR and FD are still together instead of getting his mods to censor the shit out of his fucking site. Another fucking stupid move was banning Brian. He basically made SR into what it is today and is repayed by that? So fucking stupid haha. Ban this account if you feel this is overboard, I don't give a fuck since I never post and only read ----- but I feel this had to be said.
Edit: Yeah let's censor out the word sh it but not fuck. Fuck yeah!!!

Bold 1 - Current mods vote on new mods, Andrew had 0 say in the last "hiring."

Bold 2 - I know you don't really know, but you're probably right. I use the delete button like it's my job, but only when it's something completely pointless. I've never deleted a post from Brian Boston.

Bold 3 - I never did, what did they say? Do you know who deleted them?

Bold 4 - I did not ban Brian. If it's that big of an issue to everyone, Nooner needs to speak up and inform Brian/(everyone?) why he decided to ban him. For the record, I did not and still do not agree with him being banned. I don't feel he's done anything wrong. But again, I didn't ban him.



Also for the record, I feel like I've really done nothing wrong as far as abusing power or going crazy, but I'm the one here trying to sort things out.



Lastly, Matt Stevenson is the only one who has contributed to this thread. Since "everyone on this site hates what the mods are doing," can you voice your opinion? Thanks.

I didn't know Andrew had nothing to do with the new mods. I knew it wasn't just him because you wanted to mod me before.
I don't know who deleted the posts, but if Andrew actually gave his admins the access they should have, you would be able to check the logs.
Good to know that you didn't support the banning of Brian.

Things have changed for the worse, and the fact that you guys need to ask us about any issues doesn't reassure me at all. There is so many contradictions amongst yourselves it seems the only person I would trust with this job is Rob.

The only thing that needs to get censored is the immaturity that resides in this forum, but without us having to point it out for you. Not to point the gun at anyone, but Ryan your pretty much a good example right now.

Kinda a personal attack towards Dustin, and afterwards... he banned him. He's unbanned now though. It lasted a whole 2 hours (reduced from... a month ban)

Stevenson, me and TomK both got 4 votes each (I believe). I can screenshot the poll for you if you really want to, Andrew really didn't have anything to do with the new mods at all.... And the app I sent in to be a mod basically said i'm on the internet all the time so i might as well help out the forum.. and i'm up at later hours aswell.

To start off, I think the mods are doing thier jobs, and doing it well. Second, if a mod bans someone, it is the mods decision, and if anyone wants to argue the ban, let the mods tell you why the person got banned. I know people probably think im one of those little kids ruining the forums because I joined not to long ago, but I have been veiwing the site for almost a year now, and then I finally decided it is time to create an account. I hope my opinion is helpfull
