(Part of Update: Help me think of a sweet name to call this event haha)
Hi eveyone, it's really me, sitting here at an internet cafe in Guatemala. I just want to inform you all about the dreams Ive been having.
90% of the time I have a dream, scootering is involved. I've almost been out here a year, and anyone that thought I might "lose it" by the time I got home, as of right now I can safely say that you couldn't be more wrong. My desire to ride literally follows me wherever I go. This leads me to my next point.
I realize that bringing this up right now is just insanely early, and I am probably in the wrong section, but I just have to get this out of my head and on to the internet. I am constantly dreaming up the ultimate Utah scooter session the world has ever seen at the time of my homecoming. I am talking like Transit, times a million.
Basically, when I get home, the dream is that all the coolest and best of you will fly out or drive from the farthest corners of the U.S. (or the world? cough Aaron Brandson) and come stay with me, in my house, in Salt Lake City for a specified period of time. The following days would undoubtedly be filled with epic seshing, filming, pizza consuming, and memory making (not to mention whatever chicks I can manage to bring up to chill haha). I can honestly say that if this dream of mine becomes a reality, I will list it as one of my greatest achievments in my life. A video would obviously be the outcome of such an adventure, filled with amazing clips, chill music, and lots of laughs. We would tour together to all the best parks and street spots that I am aware of within the Salt Lake and Utah counties, and literally just have the time of our lives.
I am bringing this up early for several obvious reasons. 1: Dates. I realize that I come home in October of 2010, and school would be an issue for some of you. I hope that maybe you could take some days off school to make this a reality. I was thinking it could be done during a bit of Christmas break, but then the possibility of snow in the parks is very high. This is now open to your discussion.
2: Money. I bring this up now because airfare is obviously not cheap, but the earlier you plan your trip and buy your tickets, the less costly it will be. I planned early to session with the AZ kids and got a round trip for 140 bucks. That is like, dirt cheap. It would have honestly been more in gas money if I drove there. Start saving and making plans now, and don't procrastinate.
3: Attendance. I want to get a good idea of who is seriously thinking about making this thing happen, or would even want to see it done. I want to get projected estimates of how many people would be at my house, how many cars and drivers we will need, etc. Start voicing your opinions.
That's all I can think of now. I will come and edit this post as I think of more as my time here permits me to do so. I love you all and hope that this can actually be done!
