Checker board grip tape...?

how do you get checkerboard grip tape? do you like paint onto normal or do you buy it? oh and what do you guys think is the best coloured grip tape? is camo good?

I know a fair few aussie skate shops that sell griptape with patters and logos on them, don't know about checkered though, but in all honesty plain black looks much better then anything else.
