Color correcting.

i need help on how to do it, the only program i have is Gimp 2.6 and im pretty good at it.

I know how to color correct VIDEOs in sony vegas but not pictures.

Coulda sworn it was exactly the same to color correct pics in Vegas. It was for me. I had Vegas Pro 9 I think.
