compression bolt help.

Right, I have a problem.

So up until yesterday i was riding a grit invader deck (small headtube). I have now got an AOSV2, only thing is, with the headtube being so much bigger, the fork that was cut down for the grit deck is too short for my Apex SCS's bolt to go into the starnut.

so to sum it up, my fork is too short.

I don't really want to buy a new fork, but i am willing to buy new bolts, starnuts or whatever will help.

Get a longer compression bolt, and how deep is your starnut in your forks?

not very, about a centimeter from the top, will i have any problems in the future with a longer bolt, or should it all just work fine?

didn't work took it to my local scoot shop and they said there is not enough fork to clamp on, and that the diameter of the steerer tube gets smaller as it gets shorter, so yeah, have to buy new forks too D:
