Compression Idea Half HIC Half SCS, Will This Work?

Basically I got an Idea before for compression. Basically Your fork has a starnut in it. Fork goes up decks headtube, Shim goes over forks and you tighten top cap and bolt into the starnut like HIC, then you slide your oversized clamp on. After that you put a shim in clamp then bars into clamp. If you didnt understand that heres a photo (5 minute paint job <3)

Just another way to use HIC with standard bars? It would be a useless due to the fact that this is pretty much a proto scs idaea. IMO

pretty sure yea it would work, but 2 things; you would need a strong ass quad clamp and custom shim to fit the fork and still at that scs would be better by far

it probably wouldn't work and would be a waste of time and money. just stick with SCS or HIC

SO if i got hic could i put a shim in clamp and it will fit standard sized bars?

All that that is, is just basically an scs with an oversized bottom which is...pointless.

pointless. why combine HIC and SCS when you can just buy an SCS or use HIC.

i understand what you're trying to say, but blunts compression pretty much allows the same thing.

If you got a Quad oversized clamp then this would work fine.

Notice that on an SCS the lower-inside-half of the clamp is smaller than the upper-inside-half. The reason for this is so that the clamp fits over the forks, but also so that a lip is created for the topcap to be put over and tightened down on. If you used a shim instead with a simple oversized quad clamp, you'd only be adding unnecessary parts. Also, the shim would make the fork diameter the size of standard bars or fairly close, meaning you wouldn't need to use an oversized clamp. But that aside, this would be a waste of material. SCS is as evolved as it needs to be. HIC could use some work though.
