no... the bend on the back of old madds , that's not concave.
concave is were the sides of the deck are raised a little so its a slight curve (like a skateboard )

Dislike, its only worth it if your deck is 8" wide like a skateboard and you can actualy fit your feet into the curves instead of uncomfortably standing on 4" of it.

^personal opinion , so so soooo many people love concave
plus it depends on stance but its easier to certain tricks

having concave is more comfortable than using a flat deck. its not that you feel it that much though, it gives you more control hands down.

the concave on skateboards isnt to be comfortable btw, its so you can flip the deck easier.
 
idk^ but you wont feel it its not even a factor unless the deck is really wide or you have a ton of concave and on scooters the con cave is only on the end unlike skate boards which has a constant curve of the deck from the middle to the ends

I have ridden a 4.5 phoenix and then rode my Rup ride after and I really can't tell a difference at all, but maybe its just me
