Converting MTS files

Sorry if this is already a thread, but i recently got a new video camera, and i need to know the best way to convert mts files into a format that i can edit with. Anyone have any suggestions? I use windows btw. Thanks!

fuck Sorry I dunno then, I think the format should be in '.WMV', you can download converters off the internet though.

an even better one is go pro cineform go on gopros website then go to products then software its made for go pro but it works just as well with others

the gopro one doesnt support mts

just dont do it, it destroys quality. get a real editing software.
