Creaking noise in foldy

Anyone know how to stop my foldy from the huge creaking noises? I think it might have something to do this the fact I don't have spacers on both sides of the bolts but when I put the bolts on there was no room for them. Did you guys use lock nuts or regular nuts? I used lock and I'm thinking that may be the problem for why the spacers didn't fit. Thanks for your help.

mine used to creak so then i took all the bolts out planning to rebolt it a bit better but then i found out that it was cracked.

yeah so as long as it is not actually jiggiling thenn you might not want to take it apart just incase.

Someone move this to the scooter section. It creeks because in the winter the bolts are very cold. No joke.

I haven't taken my scooter outside at all, it's been in the house all winter so that can't be the case. Good guess though.

it just happens. it goes away eventually, but theres not really anything you can do about it.

You can put nuts on the inside of the mech to balance the outer nuts... I used to do it on my old A. Worked like a charm. But creaking means movement somewhere so try that and tighten them like a fooker.

its behind the fork and attached to the front part of the foldy

Haha, I put washers on all of the sides and then tightened everything like a bitch until the washers bend around the welds etc. and it doesn't creak at all now :) problem solved, thanks guys.
