Crossbar alternatives

Hey guys, my custom crossbar just broke the other day because I used the wrong material.

None of the hardware stores near me have the right size tubing (diameter). I've tried bunnings, mitre10, super cheap and a few others.

So I was wondering if there was something else I could use as a new crossbar.

I just go to an Ace Hardware store and get a crazy thick 1/2 inch pipe.

Have someone ship one too you or just do the trolley thing. I can't because the shopping carts over here in the U.S. are different.

if you're really paranoid about it, dress up like a bum and then take it, it'll be less suspicious that way.

Put the trolly on its side then jump on it then do the same with the other side
that should work

Pretty much every hardware store has 1/2" pipes. Normal bars are like 7/8" but they still work fine if you just bolt it.

Wtf are you guys talking about, I tried 20mm tubing and the grips were loose on it!!!

is 20mm a 1/2"? Im riding the 1/2" pipe right now, and my grips are perfect..

Wrap some tape where the grips go?

1" = 25.4
20mm = 0.78"
