crown race

Does the crown race make a big difference as to how fast and smooth a headset spins? I bought a tilt headset but didn't bother switching the crown race because it almost fits and I have a Phoenix fork and the crown race is really to get off.

I think it is a district crown race.
When I tightened the compression bolt all the way the headset spins really slow.

yea i have a the pig crown race on and am running a cane creek. it doesnt make any difference

i have and pig crown race on my impact and its fast. Impact headset and fsa pig spins slow
