Cutting down vetx

Wanna cut my vertx smx down around 20mm what size starnut would fit?

you will prob have to drill the forks down an inch or so to make it fit..

like make the hole inside the forks (where the starnut will go) bigger by drilling it. find the right size drill bit...

you have a big chance of ruining / weakening the forks just so you know..

Cut it down to the top of the starnut threads, thats the furthest i would go.

1 is too big I was borrowing an SMX from my friend Talen, (Calvin's Old SMX) and a 1 wouldn't work. Cut it like Robert suggested.

mod a starnut in a lathe with a file to fit it if you cant get one small enough
