yeah i like them, and i like them even more than before because i heard some of their new songs riding with Matt Dibble to Xtreme Wheels, haha

they aren't metalcore
they don't seem to emo
definitely not nintendocore/8bit
they're not too punkish
and they definitely aren't straight rock

what are they then?

I liked them a lot when Jonny was vocalist, then he left, and I thought they had no hope left. Then Kurt joined, and now I think he brings more to the band than Jonny ever did; way, way more.

Lyrics are absolutely horrid though haha.

he does good in emarosa now

bands like foo fighters, audioslave and older stuff like the who to be more straight up rock

dgd - double bass, screaming, faster tempo

all elements of more hardcore/metal(ish) bands

HAHAHAHAHAHA yesss. me and bk were laughing about "diamond flavor" at the end of robot with human hair pt 3. kurt just comes up to the rest of the band

- "hey guys guys, i found out what this song is missing!"
- "what?"
- "DIAMOND FLAVOR!"
- "OH HELL YEAH THATS AS FUCKING RETARDED AS THE REST OF OUR LYRICS! I KNEW YOU'D FIT IN!"

Haha, idk. Probably won't be funny to anyone else, but me and BK were fucking dying laughing. Really like this band, seeing them live again may 3rd.

Also, there is another thread on them made by behlau somewhere, so next time you go to make a thread, search n00b. Final also - no one else mentioned that there was another thread already, and real replies were left, so i'll leave this thread to bask in the glory of non-deleted-ness.

edit: ryan i think we were listening ot emarosa on the way there, and dgd on the way back.

They are Post-Hardcore. Like Alexisonfire, Emarosa, In Fear and Faith, Glassjaw and so on. But they found their own unique sounding and that's why I love them more than all other post-hardcore bands
