Deck Idea.

Okay, a while back i recieved a deck from a friend that was reinforced with WOOD, previously he had ridden it for 8 months and when he gave it to me i rode it for 6 months, this deck already had cracks in it when he rode it without the reinforcement. But since he put the reinforcement was in there, the cracks did not move.
I think you should all consider this method instead of the metal reinforcing it's alot more effective.
It's only a little bit heavier too.

umm... no. I think wood is a fail in scooter parts. and if its heavier, why not just use metal, which is stronger.

like wood on the inside? it sounds like an ok idea. need big bolts to drill to put the bolts on the bottom of the foldy but sounds legit. pics?

Yes, on the inside.
I sold it like 3 months ago, but i could probably get it back for a picture.

Edit, i also had a fork reinforced with wood, it broke after a while.

It's really good, it's lasted 1 yr 3mnths so far. Just a little heaveier, but seriously get over it.

dude, seriously do it.
Oh another thing, it takes a few tools, like a saw and chisel and some other shitt to carve the wood around the wheel.
So yes it is time consuming.

Oh wait, you're saying it was a solid piece of wood going through the whole inside of the deck? I thought it was two strips, one whole one wouldn't actually be too bad as long as the wood was strong.

brass knuckles were out August last year?
and for people that done have the resources for that, you can just insert it inside a pro deck, works like a charm.
I reckon that wood deck would sound and feel, so solid compared to a pro.
