Here's my opinion and review on the Razor Ultra Pro model deck.

Pros:
-Lightest deck on the market
-More durrable than the Pro model
-Sold at reasonable prices
-Good for light small riders, or mainly tech riding

Cons:
-Smallest deck on the market... (Biggest con. Looks funny with average size people and average size bars)
-Headtube construction could be made more durrable
-Aluminum metal could be thicker

I like the new Ultra Pro but I would like to see Razor look at improving these cons.

yeah i know that they say that the amount of foot space is the same as on the pro model wich is true but since there is no foldy it is closer to the front wich i dont really like because then it feels like i am right up against the bars.

so yeah i would like it if they could make the deck both a bit longer and wider...

they should definitely make it at least a half inch bigger. phoenix decks have a perfect amount of footroom, TSIs and lucky decks have a little extra.

I don't believe the "equal foot space" theory. I compared the Ultra Pro deck size to the Pro deck size. The Ultra Pro deck has less foot space and it is also shorter lengthwise.

I don't think any deck should be smaller than the Pro, unless its made for small riders. I think the Ultra Pro should be 1in. longer and 1/2in. wider then the Pro.

its not a theory. it is the same length from the back end to the tip of the foldy/tube that connects the headtube to the deck. the only reason that the pro deck is overall longer than the ultra pro is because the foldy takes up more space then the tube that connects the headtube to the deck.

If the headtube angle was more vertical, there would be more foot space, and it would be easyer to ride. Also it should be wider

NO! Micro was the first scooter brand, and Razor took the idea and made them self a copy, which they called the pro model. At the time, Micro had even better scooters than Razor, and Razor made a cheaper copy of the Micro original, which is the A model.
People saying that Razor was the first to make freestyle scooters is WRONG! I know what I'm talking about, and Razor is NOT the first Kick scooter company. It's a copy.

i understand u dude, i was going say micro stuff in my post like they do more then razor do, with the mx store producing now a very good quality range of wheels, bars, so on all aftermarket, also micro have made a lot more versions of freestyle park scooters then razor did

bout the fact who made it first, well micro yes, but really they both org started in china from jd co the company who make bikes & razor products, it was stand the man who manage the factory floor had short legs so he invented this scooter likee the org A released which gave him a mobile scooter to look around the factory, then it lead from then, again im not going goo on bout who did what first, micro indeed was there, i also have other info to micros start all ill say is micro is ok they also run & own they china factory unlike razor from usa only have parnter ships with jd co

as said didnt want go on bout this, but yeah really razor did bring the scooter to the world at first more then micro did, still do even to date here micro is rare & always has been, RAZOR has indeed infuranced this sport the most for its kick start

honestly i dont think u know your info, micro & razor are not made in the same factory, im not 100% sure but i dont think they ever have been

the fact is micro claim they started there company in 2006 yet i rode micro old a decks in 2002, pros were released in 2005, so razor did not copy micro with that they copy MADD GEAR the old companys brand made a deck in 2002 to 2004 which are 100% same like a pro but diff aluminum also they fken were stronger best scooter ever in my mind

the fact is razor & micro put the kick scooter out into the world, but i do beleave there was a mayjor craze in japan & china, there were brands over there selling the kick scooter to japan & china way before razor started exporting them out of china

I like the size. Reminds me of old As, but with an ass ton more ground clearance.
the only thing about the ultra pro that I hate is the headtube welds sucking

its deff not the lightest deck available right now. District is the lightest at the moment. Pretty shure.

Sorry. I didn't ment that the pro model was from 2000. I ment Razor overall, and Micro started making scooters at about 1998-1999. Also, Micro and Razor wasn't the only scooter companys. There were a lot of different copys and Razor WAS one of them. They just promoted there stuff better. I've seen it in a documentary about how Micro started. But of course they moved it from there original website. http://micro-mobility.com/

Actually the designs have been made. And by the way you don't have a clue what Razor is planning this year and next, so don't go saying that.
