Wow.. Haven't posted here in a long time.

I'll spark it off with a couple from my new project

These portraits are a part of a project called [url="http://www.flickr.com/groups/2dollarportraits/]$2 Portraits.[/url] The idea is that anyone who asks me for change, I will give them $2 in exchange for a portrait. While shooting their portrait, I will ask them a few questions in hopes of getting to know them better.

For those shots I used a d40 with a 50mm f/ 2.8 lens. I plan on upgrading soon. I think I've hit it's limits. I can see the flaws in my photographs. )
(white balance errors, purple glow, noticeable noise even at a low iso, blurry at anything past 17x20, etc.)

I really liked this project u did legit as hell and a good idea

The $2 portraits concept is the greatest idea i've seen in a while. I love how raw the images looks, but then the description underneath shows a softer, clear cut side to everything that you wouldn't really see.
Please keep us updated on the $2 portraits here as well?

Of course. Next paycheck I might go up to the city and do some more.
