Yes the brake comes with a dampener as stock. and i tried tightening it a lot, but it buzzes heaps when i ride on the street and i cant stop it

I put tape between the deck and brake and now its dialed but i have not ridden it yet so idk if it will help you

i cut a piece of an old grip, and shoe gooe'd it to the brake where it touches the deck. it works perfectly.

Putting your back foot over the brake while manualing makes it easier. Not to mention brakeless manuals look better so you shouldn't use your brake to manual.
