fisheye

ok im sure many, if not all of you will disagree with this, but im tired of fisheyes. every kid that makes a video seems to have 100% fisheye. they are insanely overused. for once id like to see something shot with a tripod or from over 3 feet away. i know it gives a very distinct look, but dont kill it. watch pretty much any pro video, its not constant fisheye. try something besides fiseye and i think alot of peoples videos will turn out much better.

i agree sean, my video was filmed almost all fisheye, cause i broke my camera and couldnt take it off, but I got a replacement part so this year I can switch around more

just have someone long lens you
and just have them stay in one place
i think jason is trying to say when ppl use the kenko fisheye that they use it and it has WAY to much distortion around the edges that a fat person on the side of the video will look paper thin
that's what happens when my friend was using his because he was being stupid
i use a pos wide angle that i got with a telephoto for like 50 bucks

fool, part of the reason for using a fisheye is the look it gives, the look being distortion. bad kenkos have barely any distortion what he meant, im assuming. have you ever seen a picture taken with a death lens? im gonna guess no...

35 dollars at best buy i had to find a lense that would fit a camera (something like a 27mm video lense) so cokin was cheapest optoin for a 13 year old who is not fuckin rich

I got myself banned.
27mm? thats small as shit.. like no ones rich on these forums, you can get a kenko .43 for like 5 more dollars off bhphoto that gives you more bang for your buck

Or you can get it off ebay for like 30, then buy a step down ring for like 3 bucks on ebay shipped. 40 bucks tops for the fish and the step down shipped, and a better investment.
