Fishing

Anyone on here like to go fishing? saltwater, freshwater whatever is what I like, I'll fish anywhere I can but I like bass fishing the best, salt and freshwater bass. I fish for largemouth and smallmouth the most and spotted bay bass and calico bass when I'm staying with my mom during the summer and I'm right next to the bay.

Here are my set ups
Phenix recon PHX-C682L with a Shimano curado 50e
Shimano crucial CRC-X711HA with a Shimano Curado 200e7
BPS crankin stick medium with a Abu Garcia Revo STX

Those are just my good ones, I also have a few cheap spinning set ups and some deep sea set ups. Planning to add more nice set ups this spring/summer though.

Hey man you're from the SoCal area sweet. Yeah I love fishing, freshwater is what I fish usually I have a Shimano sijourn and a Diawa low profile caster (don't remember the model) Anyways during early spring to late summer I'm always out at the lakes fishing, pretty fun stuff sometimes I go fishing for catfish but not often.

Yea I fish the Colorado river a lot and wow it is amazing. Barret is another amazing lake but too bad it costs $100 for a 4 man boat. You ever fish the bays for spotted bay bass?

I fish downtown at the SD bay occasionally, catch halibut, bass, corvina, croaker, macarel, baracuda occasional shark.

Usual setup is a shimano calcutta 200e for bait fishing with a phoenix rod i believe, and when im jigging i usually use a shimano curado with a shimano rod with andes 10lb test rigged with a football jig head and berkley gulp, minnow style is a perfect favorite. it's been a while sinse ive been, last time i went i caught 4 bass and a croaker just walking the rocks jigging it.

Yea I like going in the evening/night to mission bay or san diego bay and just dock hopping and catching a ton of spotted bay bass and getting yelled at by the boat owners. Use just random 3/8 jig heads painted or not doesn't matter, and a 3" big hammer swimbait in whatever color according to how sunny it is that day. Use a friends unibutter if they have it or my own hot sauce, or nothing. Drop down on pilings or cast between boats and catch a ton of spotted bay bass.

My buddy has been to barret before and said it was really open fishing, and this summer my dad wants to take me out to Mission Bay to fish for spotted bay bass and barred sand bass, from what he tells me it's a ton of fun

my dad lives 45 seconds away from a lake that gets stocked soo much at the beginning of the season, he comes home with his limit of rainbow trout everyday. we have a bunc hof fishable lakes around here, he also goes salmon fishing when its season, but hasnt caught one in 2 years

Dock hopping is a lot of fun and not only is the fishing entertaining but the people/boats you will encounter. In mission bay there is this guy that has his sailboat covered in tarps and has cameras outside and screams at you if you fish near his boat. Also in mission bay there is a boat that has a little fenced off area with grass and real live ducks.

Yea by the SD airport, harbor island on the rocks all the way down the side walk is my spot. Just walk the banks with a pair of pliers and extra jigs and just catch and release. Tons of fun

Like 4 years ago I went to lake cuyamaca and cought 28 rainbow trout In like 2 hours. So fun

Live on one of the best bass fishing lakes in the Southeast. I fux with it occasionally. I just have my cheap Gander Mtn. rod but it serves me fine. My dad has tackle boxes on tackle boxes from when he was younger and fished a lot. Depends on the day, sometimes we'll get a few friends together and go down to a dock by my house (which we won't be able to use this year cuz they built a house on the property) and sit for a few hours, sometimes it fishes really well and sometimes you'll be out for hours without a bite.

michigan is good for fishing especially bass because you're never more than six miles from a lake or stream or 85 miles from a great lake haha
