Flex brakes are horrid for manuals. But my vertx brake doesn't have a spring either, so no noise.

Hmm, mk So do i just put my foot on the brake like i usaly would to stop, or do i put it on a little different??

Sorry going off topic a little here, I've only ever tried spring brakes but flexys look quite nice to me because they might not rattle as much.

lightly put your feet on the brake without braking and lean back into a manual, if you are going to far back apply pressure to the brake, too far forwards take pressure off the brake simple

spring brakes if they are within 1 cm above your wheels. old madd brakes, fakey, lucky, cut razors

flexies for the lack of noise and because i dont have to fix the brake bolt/spring every so often(because there is none)
