Foldy creaking?

The first thing i did when i got a jd bug was bolt the foldy,now when pushing forward on the handlebars it creaks hella lot,anyway to fix this?

Take the plate off the front?

if you've done that, how did you bolt it? like 5/16 in the front bolt or 3/8?

mine creaks too. i put a 5/16th on the frontmost bolt

I bought the jd bug bolt kit becuase it came free with the scooter!
