Fork Race/Crown Race Help!

I'm clueless. I just got my sinz integrated headset and it came with the bearings, top cap, and crown race (the one with the slit) Now do I need anything else to install the headset? I think I need a fork race, which I don't have, where can I get one of those? Thank you!

Most forks have the race installed/integrated...It's just a little lip at the bottom of the fork. Check yours and see if you have one.

Two components have slits. The pinch ring and the crown race. The crown race is the very bottom part of the headset that sits right on your fork. Idk about sinz headsets, but they might not have the race as most bmx forks have them integrated. Since no scooter fork does (to my knowledge), you'll have to get one off another headset and hope it fits.

Also a fork race and a crown race are the same thing, it's actually called a fork crown race.

Yes, that is it. Just push or pound your crown race on top of that and your set.
Woops my bad. ConnorD was right...Bmx forks have that little lip integrated. That is usually on all forks to my knowledge.

Ya, you need a crown race. It should have come with your headset?

Its the shiny thing with a slit in it and you put the part that fits into the bearings up when you push it on your fork.

Ok, does the shiny metal thing have a flat piece to it?
If it does that goes on your fork. Then your bearing. Then headtube. Then bearing. Then the top cap thing. I think the top cap has the crown race in it.
