i friend told me that reinforcing the fork doesn't work so i was wondering if i should put my fork thats not reinforced in or the reinforced one

Reinforce your fork, but make sure it's in all tight and stuff. I've broken a couple of reinforced forks, so they're not indestructable, but it prolongs the life of the fork.
