French I.D Brake Help.

Hi, I have a French I.D Deck and its the best deck I have ever ridden.
The only down falls are
-I snapped the rear hardwear on an inward bri-flip
- The brake is a spring brake
-Spring brake = Not dialled

Does anyone know a Flex Fender that will fit this deck?
How much and where to buy one?
I'm in Australia.

TSI Flex Fender doesn't fit.
I Would like the least amount of modification to the deck possible.

I've put a FlexFender on a French ID. You just have to bend the brake a little up so it won't touch the wheel. I did it to Kingsly's deck a while back.

take the break out. theirs an Allen key bolt on the side. tighten it so that its solid but still works normal, then put it halfway in. Find some sort of rubber. Tires, electrical tape, preferably the rubber sheets you line a bathtub/ shower with is what i used, and put it as a shim between the brake and deck. push some of it in the brake and make sure enough of it sticks out the top of the deck, but not enough to where its a bother or problem. then put the brake in and tighten it all up. i HAD the same UN-dialed-ness problem but now its my favorite break ever on my favorite deck ever. imm gonna go take and upload a pic for you in a second

Okay a picture would be awesome, I don't 100% understand what you meant but I get the basic idea of lining it and putting a shim between the brake and deck.

yes it does i had to drill another hole in the brake so it would be positioned/aligned right

u have to make another hole in the deck also and counter sink the holes to the same size as the tsi hardware so its flush

I know but when I tried last night the bend on the flex fender is to early so that the holes wont allign.

I used this method and used velcro dots and it works like a charm.

They would overlap, Where the bolt goes in doesn't align with the brake so if I was to drill a new whole in the deck it would overlap the original hole and become one big weak spot.
