I think it actually works a lot better then a fsa top and bottom.
My bottom cage broke on my pig. and all the balls fell out.

well not for me. I used to run them like that and it was way slower than when I installed both fsa cups afterwards. But it might also have had something to do with the fact that I installed the fsa cups with a headset press which made them way more even..

I wish i had a headset press. So expensive though.
When i ran a top and bottom Fsa it was slow.
Then i put the stock bottom on and it was sooooo fast.
It might have been the bearings but im not sure. I love my headset though.

Are you shitting me? All you need is a threaded rod, a bunch of big ass washers, two nuts, and two wrenches which can all be purchased at a hardware store for cheap..

u dont even need any of that crap 2 get ur headset cups in. u just chuck ur headtube with the cups loose on the ends in a vice snd squeeze them in just make sure there not crooked.

...yeah, or just bash it witha hammer with a piece of 4x2 inbetween the 2 Lol
haha, ghetto child; thats exactly what i did.
BTW just run a stock headset with some 3 in 1 lube inside, it is the same as most brand name headsets.

You cant run threaded headsets with threadless forks. And I highly doubt that its the same as most brand name headsets because most brand name headsets are threadless.
